Foundational Support (Personal & Business)
This tier provides reliable, day-to-day IT support for common issues and maintenance for both individuals and businesses. Expertise at this level focuses on efficient problem-solving for frequently encountered challenges and ensuring the smooth operation of core IT for the user.
Focus (Personal): Basic troubleshooting for personal computers and devices, software installation and updates, password resets, simple home network setup and basic troubleshooting, virus and malware removal, data backup assistance for personal files, basic guidance on using personal technology.
Focus (Business): Reactive support, basic troubleshooting, routine maintenance (e.g., software updates, password resets), hardware and software installation, basic network connectivity issues.
Expertise Level: Requires a solid understanding of common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS), standard software applications, basic networking principles (home and office), and effective troubleshooting methodologies. Technicians at this level are skilled at following established procedures and providing timely resolutions to known issues for both personal and business clients.
